Well this is exciting news. Mechs VS Minions was an industry darling at the time. A huge box of hundreds of minis, washed or fully painted and at the time I picked up a copy for a measly 65 Euros. In the six years that has passed, production costs have gone through the roof,. So it will be interesting to see if the relaunch will either charge a much heavier price tag, or we’ll see a bit of compromise in the minions themselves? Maybe some standees instead of the full mini affair. I’ve also heard there might be the possibility of some expansions coming to the game possibly as well.
It will be interesting to see the popularity. It’s rarely a game I see up for sale second hand markets and it has managed to hover around the BGG top 100 on a regular basis.
I’m rather excited for those who didn’t get a chance to play it before. More news as we get it.
