Roll Sixes is the culmination of several ideas that have been brewing in the back of our minds for the last couple of years.
The We’re Not Wizards podcast has been a passion project since its inception ten years ago, and during that time the podcast has been very lucky to have guests from every part of the Tabletop space and beyond. Designers, Developers, Publishers, Artists and Media Peeps have come to tell their story and I have been privileged to learn so much from so many of them. It has sparked my interest in how the hobby grows, survives and continues to evolve.
In my professional career I have been involved in the online space for the last twenty years, and in that time I’ve learned various skills and experience in crowdfunding, marketing, brand building, SEO, podcasting, networking, copyrighting, trademarking, logistics, ecommerce and marketplace selling. I’ve spent a lot of time navigating Amazon and eBay and have experience in the main eCommerce platforms. I’m a seller of ideas and story teller and someone who looks to streamline and make process work.
I believe that a lot of consultancy services have lost the human touch in the constant question for overzealous automation to save ‘time’, and that the majority of people want someone to engage with and work with directly. Help them achieve their business goals and have a relatable and dependable business consultancy service. Some simply want an ear to bounce ideas off and others need an extra pair of hands to make that a reality.
I’ve worked in a range of different business sectors, from Board Games and Clothing, to Automotive, FMCG, Electronics, Home. I’ve learned a lot in that time about how each of these different sectors tick.
